Qualification Details:

The North Eastern Council Secretariat is looking for the services of suitable Officers for filling up 1(One) post of Executive Engineer (Civil) on deputation (including short term contract)/ absorption basis i.e. the 2nd method as per the provision of Recruitment Rules.

1. Position: Executive Engineer (Civil)

2. No of Posts: 01

3. Deputation (including short term contract):

a. Officers under the Central Government or State Governments/Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations, holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/

b. with five years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs. 15,600-39.100/- + Grade Pay Rs.5,400/- (6th CPC)I corresponding to Level 10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC ore equivalent in the rent cadre Department; or with eight years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the scale of pay of Rs.6500- 10.500 (5th Rs.9,300- 34,800/- + Grade Pay 4.600/- (6th CPC)I corresponding to Level 7 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and possessing the following educational qualifications and exprience:

c. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent. Five years' experience in execution/construction of civil works

4. Job requirement: To assist Adviser (T&C) and examine the preliminary cost estimates of roads, bridges submitted by the State Govts, of North Eastern Region for consideration by the Advisory Group. To scrutinize the detailed estimates submitted by the State Governments of N.E. Region. To take up site inspection, evaluate Progress of works in articular Projects and verify technical sanction
